Golconda
OVERVIEW
High grade gold, silver discovery
Significant gallium discovery
Proximal to the Mineral Park copper, moly, silver mine
Historic zinc and lead district with limited past precious-metal exploration
Multiple vein structures over 10 km, including Tub–Golden Eagle Vein
Drilling confirms gold, silver, zinc, and gallium mineralisation
Mineralisation spans 700 m of strike and remains open
Key zones: Tub Zone and Tub Footwall Zone, laterally and vertically continuous
85–92% of gallium hosted in sericite, favorable for processing
Phase 2 RC drilling complete; core drilling underway to define depth and structure.
District-Scale
District Scale Structure
- Understanding the district scale structure is crucial for evaluating the Golconda Project’s mineral potential.
Major NW-Trending Structure
- The Tub Zone is situated on a significant NW-trending crustal structure spanning over 20km, separating two Proterozoic rock types.
Mineralization Significance
- This structure hosts important mineral deposits, including the Golconda and Tub mines, crucial for regional mining activities.
